Port MacDonnell is the home of South Australia's Biggest lobster fishing fleet.  There is fishing charter or eat the catch of the day at the local fish & chip shops.  You can also dine in at the Shipwreck Bistro, cafe or pizzaria who all serve local produce and wines from the region.  

Catch a wave and hit the popular surfing and swimming spots or snorkel and dive in the near by Ewen Ponds. Scuba divers can explore one of the many sinkholes in the lime stone coast, Kilsby sinkhole is very popular. 

If the land is more your style explore the many parks, playgrounds and walks along this lovely coast line.  Walkers and bird watchers can choose from many trails and reserves to fill in the days at Port MacDonnell.  

The seaport of Port MacDonnell has a long history of shipwrecks and the Maritime Museum located at the community complex is a must to visit.
